Caught On Tape: Dough-Spinning Contest
Caught On Tape is a collection of strange and offbeat happenings captured on video. Check back Monday through Friday for a new video adventure compiled by CBSNews.com's Nicola Menzie.
The Pennsylvania Restaurant and Foodservice Expo in Pittsburgh on March 19 was highlighted by a pre-pizza party of sorts.
Expo attendees were treated to a visual treat as pizza dough spinning contestants twirled and tossed up a storm.
One unidentified contestant got up close and personal with the audience.
Contestants were judged on their style, talent, and the roundness of their big pizza pies.

Milk Crate Robber
On March 11, a convenience store robber in Pelham, Ga., didn't want his face caught on security cameras, so he came up with the ingenious solution of putting a milk crate over his head.
The video quality is poor, but the robber can be seen entering the store holding a milk crate on his head with his left hand and a gun in his right hand.
The disguise was apparently of little benefit, considering that Pelham police tracked down 46-year-old Marty Simpson in about two hours. Police say he had robbed another convenience store the same day.
Investigator John Sellers demonstrated how the robber showed his face at one point during the robbery.
Simpson was charged with felony armed robbery, aggravated assault and burglary.

Gooden In Court
Dwight Gooden was ordered held without bond March 15 during an appearance in a Tampa, Fla., courtroom on charges he violated the terms of his probation.
The former star pitcher was arrested after testing positive for cocaine.
Gooden, 41, pleaded guilty in November to speeding away from police after a DUI traffic stop in August 2005. He was sentenced to three years' probation.
Gooden is being held at the Hillsborough County jail. His attorney, Peter Hobson, was present for the court hearing before Judge W.R. Heinrich.
Assistant Hillsborough County State Attorney Pam Bondi said Gooden could face up to five years in prison.
In 1984 Gooden was named National League Rookie of the Year and was the 1985 National League Cy Young Award winner while with the New York Mets. He retired five years ago. Gooden also pitched for the New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros and Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Health Care Robot
A Japanese research laboratory has shown the public a newly developed robot that can pick up a human-sized doll out of a bed.
The 5-foot-2 robot, called "Ri-Man," was developed in hopes that it could play an active role in the health care field in the future.
The robot was able to lift the 26-pound doll with the help of 320 sensors installed under its arms and chest.
The laboratory says that it will continue to develop robots that have the ability to do heavy physical work and communicate with people.
