Caught On Tape: Apple Store Smash-and-Grab

Evesham Township police are looking for a group of suspects who ran off with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise during a smash and grab robbery at an Apple store, reports CBS station KYW in Philadelphia.

Surveillance video shows a group of five suspects ransacking the store in the Promenade at Sagemore Shopping Center along Route 73 just before 2 a.m. Wednesday morning, the station reports.

The suspects tossed a large rock through the storefront window then began moving quickly and deliberately through the business.

Police said the suspects grabbed 23 Macbook Pro laptops, 14 iPhones, and nine iPod Touch devices before fleeing the scene, the station reports.

Investigators said it appears one of the suspects gestured to a security guard in the store, indicating that he was carrying a handgun.

Police said they are searching for five black males in connection with the robbery. Two of the suspects were wearing black sweatshirts and a third had on a red vest with a light-colored long sleeve shirt, the station reports.
