Deliberations resumed for a second day Tuesday morning after the jury failed to reach a verdict Monday after 6 hours of deliberating.
The sequestered jury of seven women and five men was chosen from the Tampa Bay area because of exhaustive pretrial media coverage in the Orlando area and have been sequestered in an Orlando hotel. They listened to 33 days of testimony and another two days of closing arguments.
The prosecution had claimed that Anthony suffocated her daughter with duct tape. The defense said Caylee accidentally drowned.
