Anthony broke down in tears and started shaking when John J. Schultz, a professor of anthropology, testified about bones that were found in a wooded area near the Anthony's home in 2008, reports CBS affiliate WTSP.
As Schultz explained that the bones had been chewed on by animals, Anthony was seen crying with her attorney's hand on her back, the station reports.
Today, Jurors were shown photos of tattered and torn shorts and the shirt Caylee was wearing when she died. Anthony looked away as the photos were shown.
Judge Belvin Perry had to end the proceedings about 90 minutes early Thursday, after Anthony apparently became sick from seeing
pictures of her daughter Caylee's skull in court. She was seen by jailhouse doctors after leaving court Thursday afternoon, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.
Anthony is charged with first-degree murder. Prosecutors say she used duct tape to suffocate her daughter in the summer of 2008. The defense contends Caylee drowned in her grandparents' pool. Her remains were found in December 2008.
