Capitol Hill reporters and their tweets during the debt debate
The debt ceiling standoff has finally been resolved, Congress has gone running for the Hills and the rest of us are nursing our battlescars and eating our Satan sandwiches.
There weren't very many bright spots in this bitter showdown, but if you ask most members of the Washington press corps they will tell you that the one thing that kept them going through the 18 hour days of the past week weeks, it was the sarcastic, laugh-out-loud tweets from a few of their colleagues, including Sam Youngman, White House Correspondent for The Hill, Dave Weigel of Slate and Olivier Knox of Agence France-Presse.
