Cops: Calif. parolee found naked in community center bathroom
FAIRFIELD, Calif. - A man who was supposed to have registered as sex offender was found naked in a community center bathroom Tuesday morning, reported CBS San Francisco.
Randy Smith, 41, was found around 9 a.m. by an employee at the Fairfield Community Center. According to the station, the employee was concerned because pre-school classes were about to start.
Smith had been released from prison at the end of July and was required to register with the City of Fairfield as a sex offender within a week of his release, police said.
Smith was arrested for a parole violation, reports the station.
It did not appear any children at the community center came in contact with Smith, authorities said.
