On Monday, Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, co-host "Simply Shakespeare" in Los Angeles, featuring a reading of "As You Like It" with the help of guests like Paul Simon . . . all to benefit youth programs at the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles.

Tuesday is the 65th anniversary of the day Bruce Springsteen was Born In The U.S.A. . . . in Long Branch N.J., to be exact.

On Wednesday the 15th Annual Latin Grammy Award nominations will be announced online. The awards will be presented November 20th in Las Vegas.

Thursday sees the start of the annual James Dean Festival in his hometown of Fairmount, Ind., including a James Dean look-alike contest. The actor died in a car accident in 1955 at the age of 24.

On Friday, Time magazine covers from the 1960's go on view at the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery in Washington.

And Saturday's the day an Italian newspaper says George Clooney will be marrying lawyer Amal Alamuddin in Venice. The paper reports the couple has rented two luxury hotels for the occasion.
