Tuesday is Eid al-Adha, the Feast of the Sacrifice . . . the day Muslims mark the account of Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son, Ishmael, to the will of God.
Wednesday sees a new round of talks in Geneva on Iran's nuclear program.
Thursday is THE day the Treasury Department warns the government will run out of cash to meet its obligations unless the debt ceiling is raised.
On Friday, our friend Wynton Marsalis, whose soaring trumpet opens our broadcast every Sunday, will be celebrating his 52nd birthday.
And on Saturday, the violin belonging to Titanic bandleader Wallace Hartley goes on the auction block in England. The violin was found strapped to Hartley's body two weeks after the sinking.
