Soccer superstar David Beckham drops it like it's hot for Snoop Dogg's reality TV show.

Beckham visits "Snoop Dogg's Father Hood" this Sunday, Dec.16 (10:30 p.m., ET/PT).

Knowing their father loves to talk about all the celebrities he knows, Snoop's kids call his bluff when he claims to know Beckham and insist on meeting him before they practice soccer, according to E Entertainment.

In exchange for a lesson, Snoop takes Beckham to his favorite restaurant: Roscoe's House of Chicken 'N Waffles. The only problem: Boss Lady, Snoop's wife, has forbidden him from eating there because it's unhealthy.

Anxiety Keeps Britney Spears At Home

2Britney Spears was a no show at a scheduled deposition in her ongoing child custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

A throng of news media and paparazzi was waiting for the pop megastar to show up at 10 a.m. Wednesday at attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan's office.

Shortly after 11 a.m., Kaplan said he was informed that Spears did not feel well and was not coming.

"She's going to show at a later date," Kaplan said, "but we don't waive any rights to ask for certain relief from the court as a result of having a court-ordered deposition not attended."

Sam Lutfi, Britney Spears' current advisor/confidante, told Jason Kennedy of E! News exclusively that Spears was ready to go, "but when she saw the media frenzy outside her house, her anxiety sky rocketed."

He went on to say that a doctor was called and her attorneys felt it was in her best interest to not attend the deposition.

When asked about press reports of a marriage proposal that he made to Spears, Lufti told E! News, "no comment."

Spears and Federline have been wrangling for months over custody of their sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James.

Hilton said she turns off the lights, doesn't leave the TV on or the water running when she leaves her house.

"Little things that people can do every day to make a huge difference," she said.

She was in Berlin to take part in an advertising campaign for Rich Prosecco, a sparkling wine sold in cans.

Hilton told reporters she's looking for a boyfriend and knows exactly what qualities Mr. Right should possess.

Shia LaBeouf Won't Be Drunk At Walgreens Again

5You can say that when Shia LaBeouf made a trip to Walgreens last month, he made it an interesting one.

The "Disturbia" star is no longer facing criminal charges for refusing to leave a downtown Chicago Walgreens last month.

The 21-year-old "Transformers" star was in a Chicago courtroom for only minutes Wednesday before prosecutors read a letter from the Walgreens Co. and a security company saying they don't want to continue the case.

LaBeouf, of Glendale, Calif., didn't speak but smiled at the news. He was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing after his Nov. 4 arrest.

Police said a security guard told LaBeouf he needed to leave the Walgreens store because he appeared to be drunk, but LaBeouf refused to leave.

Police didn't administer a sobriety test because LaBeouf wasn't driving a vehicle.

LaBeouf co-stars with Harrison Ford in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," due in theaters next year.

Howard Stern Annoyed With Neighbors Attracting Paparazzi

Howard Stern said that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have "put a plague" on his Upper West Side block since they moved in temporarily while Garner completes a Broadway run in "Cyrano de Bergerac," according to Page Six.

While on his Sirius radio show Stern complained that packs of paparazzi stand outside for the couple, and when he walks out, they snap him too, especially when he thinks he looks horrible.

"It's unbelievable. Now I know why co-ops block famous people from getting into buildings," said Stern, adding that he gets the scoop from his doorman. "Who cares about them anymore?" he asked sidekick Robin Quivers.

Johnny Depp Doesn't Want to Be a Product

To Johnny Depp, Freedom Means Simplicity and Anonymity.

"I'm sure it will be a possibility someday again. Maybe when I get old. They get tired of you," the actor tells Esquire magazine in its January issue, available Friday. "`Didn't you used to be Johnny Depp?' That will be the clincher."

The 44-year-old star of "Sweeney Todd," which opens Christmas Day, talked with the magazine about the lessons he's learned over his two decades in Hollywood.

His friend and mentor Marlon Brando taught Depp to keep his private life private.

"That's your world and it's nobody else's business," he recalls Brando saying. "It's not anybody's entertainment."

A self-described people-watcher, Depp says he's learned to enter restaurants through the kitchen and hotels through the parking garage.

"It'll definitely make you a little weird if you're constantly being stared at," he says.

While he loves his work, Depp says he's "not a great fan of all the stuff that goes along with it."

"I don't want to be a product," he says. "Of course you want the movies to do well. But I don't want to know ... who's hot now and who's not and who's making this much dough and who's boffing this woman or that one. I want to remain ignorant of all this. I want to be totally outside and far away from all of it."

"Sopranos" Creator Due In Court

"Sopranos" mastermind David Chase is headed to federal court to defend his role in creating the hit HBO mob drama.

Jury selection was to begin Wednesday in Trenton, N.J. in the case of a former New Jersey municipal court judge who claims his ideas helped Chase come up with the show's plot.

Robert Baer, also a former assistant prosecutor in New Jersey's Union and Hudson counties, sued Chase in 2002, claiming he suggested a TV show about organized crime in New Jersey and gave Chase a crash course on the north Jersey mob.

In court documents, Chase countered that Baer is "self delusional." He is expected to testify at the trial. U.S. District Judge Joel A. Pisano dismissed Baer's lawsuit twice, but those rulings have been overturned.

The legal dispute centers on Baer's role in developing the show in 1995, years before "The Sopranos" became a cable sensation.

"He proposed the idea about doing the show about the north Jersey mafia," said his attorney, Harley D. Breite. "He's looking to be compensated for the value of what he did, the services and assistance he provided to Mr. Chase."
