Bryan Cranston

Will the third time be the charm for Bryan Cranston? The actor is nominate for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy series for his portrayal of Malcom's dad Hal in "Malcolm in the Middle." He was nominated in 2002 and 2003 for the role but he has yet to take home an award.

The son of 1950's television actor Joe Cranston, Bryan grew up in the Los Angeles area. He began his acting career in community theater productions following college, and then joined the original cast of the soap opera "Loving" in 1982.

Cranston appeared on numerous television programs through the 80s and 90s and appeared on the big screen in "That Thing You Do" and "Saving Private Ryan."

Cranston has been a castmember of "Malcom in the Middle" since its debut in 2000.
