Brutal attack at Colorado train station caught on video

DENVER - A brutal attack on an unsuspecting stranger was caught on camera at a Denver light rail station.

CBS Denver reports that police released images of two suspects being sought in the attack, which happened around 2 p.m. on Thursday. The fight took 40 seconds. Police would not say much about the victim or what was taken.

"It appears the suspects followed the victim on foot for a short period of time before one of the suspects struck the victim several times and robbed him," said a Denver police spokesperson.

Video shows the suspect in the red shirt with some kind of object that he used to beat the victim. The shirtless suspect stood back and did not get involved, but he might be police's best hope of catching the pair.

After the fight, the two suspects ran back across the light rail station, getting caught on several cameras. The shirtless suspect had a visible specialized tattoo on his chest.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
