Brother of wrestler Kurt Angle charged with homicide
DORMONT, Pa. - Police say David Angle, the brother of professional wrestler and Olympian Kurt Angle, killed his wife early Sunday morning, in their Dormont home.
CBS Pittsburgh reports that police were called to Angle's home just before 6:30 a.m. for a domestic disturbance. When police arrived, they found Donna Angle, 57, unresponsive. She was taken to an area hospital, where she died a short time later.
David Angle allegedly told police that after an argument, Donna tried to kick him and he allegedly grabbed her by the arms, pulled her off the couch, put his foot on her chest and pulled.
Officials have not released a cause of death, but an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
Angle is charged with homicide and is currently in the Allegheny County Jail.
