Brody Jenner's New Tattoo for Avril Lavigne

NEW YORK (CBS) Looks like things between Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne are permanent.

The reality TV star and his punk rock girlfriend were recently spotted with new tattoos that display their love for each other.

Over the July 4th weekend, Lavigne, 25, was was photographed in Malibu with the word "Brody" imprinted on the side of her torso and Jenner, 26, was spotted with her first name inked on his forearm while out partying in Los Angeles.

But this isn't the first set of tattoos that Lavigne and Jenner share together.

According to People magazine, the couple was seen getting matching lightning bolt tattoos while in Las Vegas in April. A month later, the two reportedly got the word "F---" inked on their respective rib cages.

The "Sk8er Boi" singer was once married to Slum 41 lead singer, Deryck Whibley, while Jenner has been romantically linked with "The Hills" costar Kristen Cavallari and Lauren Conrad.
