Brittany Murphy's final film completed

Brittany Murphy's final film has finally been completed.

The actress died in December 2009 at age 32, shortly after wrapping up shooting on the film, "Something Wicked."

According to The Los Angeles Times, the movie, which also stars Shantel VanSanten, Julian Morris, John Robinson and James Patrick Stuart, is a "suspenseful thriller about obsession and young love gone wrong."

Post-production on the film was delayed after Murphy's death, which according to a coroner's report, was caused by pneumonia, anemia and overuse of prescription drugs. The film is now being shopped to distributors.

Murphy's other films included "Clueless," "8 Mile," "Girl, Interrupted" and "Just Married."

Earlier this year, the movie, "Dark Blood," starring River Phoenix was finally completed, 19 years after the actor's death. It opened at the Netherlands Film Festival in October.

Several stars' films have been released after their deaths, including Whitney Houston and Heath Ledger.
