British celebrities react to Brexit vote
Celebrities in the U.K. tweeted their reactions to Thursday's British vote to exit the European Union, and they ranged from despondent to ecstatic.
Most celebrities who had previously tweeted that they wanted the U.K. to stay in the European Union stayed mum, while those who wanted to leave were gleeful.
Elizabeth Hurley, who recently tweeted a nude photo of herself with just the Union Jack, wrote that she would have "sweet dreams" after the Brexit vote.
Meanwhile, Lily Allen and J.K. Rowling voiced their outrage on Twitter.
The singer wrote that millennials were "really, really f***ed," while the "Harry Potter" author wrote, "I don't think I've ever wanted magic more," upon hearing the news.
