Britain's First Abortion Services Ad Airs
It's a first for Britain: a commercial advertising abortion services. Although the ad never mentions the word "abortion," it steers viewers toward a 24-hour helpline run by Marie Stopes International, a charity group that runs sexual health clinics across Britain. It performs 65,000 abortions a year.
