"Boy Meets World" star Rider Strong welcomes a son

Boy, meet world -- "Boy Meets World" star Rider Strong is now dad to a baby boy of his own.

He and wife Alexandra Baretto welcomed their first child, Indigo "Indy" Baretto Strong, on Dec. 28, a rep confirmed to People.

Strong, 35, and Baretto, 39, married in October 2013. The pair met while co-starring on the short-lived WB series "Pepper Dennis" in 2006.

Strong is known to "Boy Meets World" fans for playing Shawn Hunter on the hit ABC series, which ran from 1993-2000. He's since reprised the role on the Disney Channel spinoff, "Girl Meets World."
