Bound, burned body found near Massachusetts railroad tracks
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- A prosecutor says a woman's body was found bound and burned last night near railroad tracks in Massachusetts.
Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz said Wednesday that the remains were found just before midnight near train tracks in Bridgewater, about 25 miles south of Boston.
He said the unidentified woman was found with her hands tied behind her back and to her feet.
Police discovered the body down an embankment in a relatively secluded area after responding to a call of a suspicious vehicle.
Cruz said investigators believe the body was burned at the scene but the killing likely happened elsewhere.
