A mother is many things. Nurse, chauffeur, cook, maid, coach, alarm clock -- and on and on.

Too often, a mom gives up her own self to do all those other jobs.

But they don't have to, as MomsTown.com founders Mary Goulet and Heather Reider say in their new book, "It's All About You: Live the Life You Crave."

They say too many moms are "OCI" -- overworked, confused, and irritated.

"The Choice," by Nicholas Sparks

Nicholas Sparks is the author of bestsellers "The Rescue" and "Nights in Rodanthe," as well as "The Notebook," "Message in a Bottle," "A Walk to Remember," "A Bend in the Road," "The Guardian," "The Wedding," and his memoir, "Three Weeks with My Brother," written with his brother, Micah.

Sparks books have been translated into more than thirty languages; "Message in a Bottle," "A Walk to Remember" and "The Notebook" were made into movies.

Sparks, who lives in North Carolina with his wife and family, appeared on The Early Show to talk about his newest book, "The Choice," the story of an unlikely romance that asks the question, "How far would you go to keep the hope of love alive?"
