Blake Lively opens up about motherhood: "This is the happiest time in my life"
Blake Lively is feeling that new mommy glow.
The "Gossip Girl" star, who welcomed her first child with Ryan Reynolds last month, says that motherhood feels natural to her.
"I don't feel like it's a massive change," she told People magazine in a new interview.
In fact, Lively -- the youngest child of five in a blended family -- is already looking forward to having more children of her own.
"I do want to just enjoy this moment," she explained. "But I also feel like my first child is going to be the oldest sibling to the next kid, and that may change with each and every year. I'm looking forward to how one baby influences the other, and to my family as a whole, to every single chapter."
Lively and Reynolds, who have been married since 2012, have not yet revealed the baby's gender or name. Us Weekly is reporting that it's a girl, and a now-deleted tweet also circulated Tuesday from a person claiming to work at Westchester Medical Center who said the baby's name is Violet.
But whatever the little one's name is, between marriage, motherhood and the launch of her lifestyle website, Preserve, Lively is pretty happy these days.
"This is the happiest time in my life, and I could say that every day," she said. "I often feel like, 'I can't believe I'm experiencing this.'"
