Beyonce covers Time's "100 Most Influential People" issue
Time magazine has released its annual "100 Most Influential People" list, and Beyonce leads the way on the issue's cover.
Inside the issue, Facebook's Sheryl Sandberg praised the 32-year-old singer.
"Beyonce has insisted that girls 'run the world' and declared, 'I'm not bossy, I'm the boss,'" Sandberg wrote. "She raises her voice both on- and offstage to urge women to be independent and lead."
Internal covers inside the magazine feature actor Robert Redford, Jason Collins (the NBA's first openly gay player) and General Motors CEO Mary Barra.
Other honorees include Pope Francis, Hillary Clinton, Edward Snowden, Pharrell Williams, Amy Adams, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, director Alfonso Cuaron, Serena Williams, Kerry Washington, Benedict Cumberbatch and CBS' Charlie Rose.
The Time 100 issue hits newsstands Friday.
