Beyonce, Colin Farrell film gets "Epic" Blu-ray release
Fans of "Epic" can now rejoice.
The 3D CGI tale from 20th Century Fox was released on Blu-ray and DVD formats on Tuesday. The Blu-ray edition features over an hour of extras, including an interactive coloring book.
When it was first released in theaters in May, the film garnered praise from Variety and The Washington Post for its striking visuals and scenery.
Much of the film (which features the voices of Colin Farrell, Amanda Seyfried and Beyonce) is set in a land of enchantment where anything can happen, leading to several colorful set pieces.
Thanks to her brilliant but eccentric scientist father, Mary Katherine (Seyfried) comes to find herself in a miniature world of magic, filled with some helpful characters (Farrell, Beyonce) and others who are not so helpful to say the least, like two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz's malevolent Mandrake.
Watch the video at the top of this story to see Seyfried and Farrell discuss what it was like to enter this fairy-tale world.
There's also video below of Beyonce in an exclusive clip taken directly from the Blu-ray release, which is now available in stores.
