Beyonce and Jay-Z emphatically deny pregnancy rumors

(CBS News) Baby bump rumors and reports that Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting their second child continue to escalate after a string of recent public performances. The singer has denied that she is pregnant and set off a social media firestorm when she shared a picture of herself enjoying a glass of wine on her Tumblr page.

While some speculated that the photo was staged -- grape juice swapped in to look like wine -- Beyonce's camp reached out to "CBS This Morning" co-host Gayle King to put the rumor to bed.

King got a call on Tuesday that confirmed the couple is "absolutely, positively not pregnant at this time."

"It's a crazy rumor that started that they can't seem to stop," King said Wednesday on "CBS This Morning."

"It's true that she and Jay-Z absolutely want to have another baby when the time is right. And when the time is right, they will share it," King added.
