Beverly Knepper, Ga. teen, missing after planning meeting with Instagram friend, report says

(CBS) ATLANTA - Police are searching for a 14-year-old girl who was last seen on Monday afternoon after she told her parents she was going to meet a boy she met on Instagram, reports CBS Atlanta.

According to the station, Berverly Knepper may have run away after getting into an argument with her parents over meeting a 14-year-old boy she met on the mobile photo and video-sharing app Instagram.

The boy, whose alleged name is Jahlil, has spoken to the Beverly's parents and reportedly said he was supposed to meet the girl at a park but couldn't make it.

Family members have been searching for the girl since Monday. They have been posting flyers and are asking the public for help in locating her.

Beverly is 5'2'', 112 pounds and was last seen wearing yellow shorts, a white t-shirt, and white shoes.
