Will Bethenny Frankel be a "Real Housewife" once again?
Bethenny Frankel is returning to her roots.
Four years after quitting "The Real Housewives of New York City," the chef, author and entrepreneur is reportedly rejoining for the seventh season of the Bravo series, according to Us Weekly.
Frankel has certainly been busy since her departure. She starred in the Bravo's "Bethenny Getting Married?" in 2011 and subsequently, "Bethenny Ever After," which chronicled her relationship with Jason Hoppy and her role as a mother.
She also penned several books, her most recent being the picture book "Cookie Meets Peanut," based on her daughter and pet dog.
Frankel's self-titled talk show was canceled in February and, according to Us Weekly, producers hope her return will boost ratings, which dropped to 1 million during season six.
Frankel's return will give her a chance to promote her Skinnygirl products, which include a cocktail and shapewear line.
The show is quite different from the one Frankel left behind. Only LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer are left from the original "Housewives." The other stars are Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman and Sonja Morgan.
