Best Bets: "The Bourne Legacy, " Olympics and Matthew Perry series

(CBS News) Ready for another installment of the Bourne saga?

"The "Bourne Legacy," the fourth Bourne movie and the first without Matt Damon, hits theaters on Friday. Fans of the film franchise based on the Robert Ludlam novels will be eager to see how Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner measures up as a spy without an identity.

Also opening this Friday is Will Ferrell and Zack Galifianakis' election year comedy, "The Campaign," and Spike Lee's coming-of-age story "Red Hook Summer." On Tuesday. look for Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones as a middle-aged married couple seeking counsel from couples therapist Steve Carell in the comedy "Hope Springs."

Out on DVD and Blu-Ray Tuesday is the family film, "Dr Suess' The Lorax."

Former "Friends" star Matthew Perry returns to the small screen Wednesday in "Go On," his third TV series ("Mr. Sunshine" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" came before) since 'Friends" went off the air in 2004. NBC is giving the show, in which Perry plays a sportscaster, a sneak peek in late night.

And on Sunday, Olympic activity in London will wrap up with a gala closing ceremony on NBC featuring a bevy of high fashion models and music by The Who.

Rob Zombie's new album "Mondo Sex Head" hits shelves on Tuesday as does Anthony & the Johnsons new CD "Cut the World."

Novelist Neal Stephenson ponders a variety of topics, from movies to politics to video games, in a book of essays, "Some Remarks," being published Tuesday by William Morrow.
