Best Bets: "The Bachelorette," "Jersey Shore" and Lollapalooza

(CBS) Ashley Hebert reaches the end of her search for love tonight when she hands out the last rose and presumably, accepts a marriage proposal from one of last two suitors standing.

In the season finale of ABC's "The Bachelorette," Hebert will choose between Ben, a 28-year-old California winemaker, and J.P., a 34-year-old Long Island construction manager.

The finale of "Falling Skies" and the premiere of MTV' "Jersey Shore" are also among the entertainment highlights for the coming week.

"Falling Skies," a first-season, apocalypse-alien adventure starring Noah Wylie, ends on Sunday on TNT. And "Jersey Shore" begins Thursday with Snooki, the Situation and their friends exploring Florence, Italy. (Don't look for them on line at the Uffizi.)

Also, the annual Teen Choice Awards, shaped like surfboards and based on online voting for favorites, will be given out Sunday night in a live broadcast on Fox.

One of the music highlights of the summer - the Lollapalooza festival - takes place Friday through Sunday in Chicago. Headliners include Eminem, Coldplay, and the Foo Fighters.

Also this week, Fountains of Wayne debuts its new album, "Sky full of Holes" on Tuesday.

On the big screen, look for the openings Friday of long awaited "The Rise of the Planet of the Apes," as well as "The Whistleblower starring Rachel Weisz and Monica Bellucci and the Ryan Reynolds-Jason Bateman comedy, "The Change-Up." Let's hope the last movie is as funny as "Horrible Bosses," Bateman's other summer comedy this year.

And finally, fans of the "Pretty little Liars" series will welcome author Sara Shepard's "The Lying Games #2: Never Have I Ever," to be published Tuesday by Harper Collins. Like its predecessors, this book is a story of "secrets, lies, and killer consequences."
