NEWARK, N.J. -- A northern New Jersey elementary school principal who was reported missing just days before the launch of the new school year was found Friday wandering in Philadelphia, reports NJ.com.
Bertha Dyer has been hospitalized there, but details remain unclear.
Dyer, the principal at Mount Vernon Elementary School in Newark, outside New York City, was reported missing by her sister in Franklin Township Tuesday after a concerned family friend contacted her asking about the woman’s whereabouts, reported CBS New York.
Dyer, 68, had been scheduled to attend multiple meetings on Wednesday, but didn’t show up, the station reports.
