Bernie Sanders will reportedly appear with Larry David on SNL
Democratic presidential candidate will appear this weekend on Saturday Night Live with his doppelganger, "Seinfeld" co-creator Larry David, the New York Times reports.
The trip to New York City for the appearance will briefly take Sanders off the campaign trail just days before the February 9 New Hampshire primaries.
David has already appeared at least twice on Saturday Night Live this campaign season to portray Sanders. The candidate has been a good sport about it: After David portrayed Sanders in a sketch last year, claiming the Vermont senator only has one pair of underwear, Sanders assured CBS that he has an "ample supply of underwear."
When Sanders was asked at a televised town hall this week whether he can do a Larry David impression, Sanders replied, "I am Larry David."
A couple of other 2016 candidates -- Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump -- have already appeared on the sketch comedy show.
