Ben Stiller's "Dodgeball" getting a sequel
Look out -- the balls are going to be flying again.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Twentieth Century Fox has commissioned a long-rumored script for a sequel to Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn's 2004 comedy "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story." Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn would return to star, with Stiller's Red Hour Films producing.
Details of the film are scant, but apparently "Dodgeball 2," which is currently being penned by Clay Tarver ("Joy Ride"), will feature Stiller and Vaughn "forced to team up to fight an even bigger threat."
It's unclear what that means, but the comedic duo is sure to bring some laughs -- or at least some inappropriate ball jokes. The first installment made $167 million worldwide.
