Asteroid's Near-Miss of the Earth (Video)

We wrote yesterday about 2010 TD54, the small asteroid that was expected to buzz close by the earth early this morning. In case you were still asleep, amateur astronomer Patrick Wiggins grabbed a few images and put them into animated form.

The recently-discovered asteroid was initially sighted by astronomers on Oct. 9. It measures about 6 to 33 feet wide.
