Ark. father, 10-month-old son missing; Mom arrested

YELL COUNTY, Ark. - Authorities are searching for an Arkansas father and his 10-month-old son who were last seen Friday in the Ouachita Mountains, reports CBS affiliate KTHV.

Police said Sunday that 21-year-old Brooke Floyd, the missing man's wife, who is also the mother of the child, was arrested for felony endangering and hindering apprehension. Further details surrounding her arrest were not immediately available.

Brian Floyd, 33, of Greenwood, and the young child, Harper Floyd, were last seen in the Ouachita Mountains in an area south of Blue Mountain Lake, Captain John Foster Jr. with the Yell County Sheriff's Department said, according to KTHV.

The car Brian Floyd's had been driving reportedly broke down on a mountain road, the station says.
