LOS ANGELES (CBS) Are "The Place Beyond the Pines" co-stars Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes taking their on-screen romance off screen?

According to People magazine, the two were spotted last weekend holding hands on a casual date at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.

The report quoted onlookers as saying Gosling, 30, and Mendes, 37, were hand-in-hand as they ate pink cotton candy and popcorn, went on Ariel's Undersea Adventure ride and watched a water show.

Gosling, an Oscar nominee for the 2006 movie "Half Nelson, has been busy on screen lately. The Canadian-born actor can be seen in "Crazy, Stupid Love" and stars in George Clooney's "The Ides of March" which opened the Venice Film Festival last week. His "Blue Valentine" with Michelle Williams was a hit last winter.

Mendes, of Cuban-American descent, has been acting in movies and on TV since her college days but gained fame in 2001 as Denzel Washington's girlfriend in "Training Day." She starred opposite Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in "The Other Guys" last year.
