Are Katy Perry and John Mayer back together?

It appears that on-again, off-again couple Katy Perry and John Mayer are back on.

The two singers were spotted together at the Friars Foundation event honoring Don Rickles in New York on Monday.

According to People, Perry "was enamored" during Mayer's performance at the event, and onlookers said the two "shared kisses" and "were affectionate towards one another -- very lovey-dovey."

Perry, 28,recently told Vogue that she was "still madly in love" with Mayer, but had indicated in that interview that their relationship was over.

"All I can say about that relationship is that he's got a beautiful mind," she told the magazine of Mayer. "Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds."
