Apparent love triangle in Maryland ends in deadly family feud
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. -- Three people, including a 13-year-old have been charged with murder after two people were killed last week, reports CBS Baltimore.
The initial investigation began back on Oct. 5, 2015 when 40-year-old Anthony Anastasi Jr. and 25-year-old Jacqueline Riggs were both murdered inside a residence in Lothian, southwest of Annapolis.
According to police, Riggs appeared to be having a relationship with Anastasi Jr. and recently moved into the basement of the residence. Police say Anastasi Jr. was married to his wife Ann Marie Anastasi, of 18 years, and there was tension with Riggs living in the basement.
Investigators determined that during the summer of 2015, the victim's wife, Ann Marie Anastasi, and their 13-year-old daughter plotted to have both Anthony Anastasi Jr. and his lover, Riggs, killed. Police say the 13-year-old's boyfriend committed the murders.
Ann Anastasi, of Lothian, was taken into custody on Oct. 15 and charged with first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder, and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Meanwhile, the 13-year-old was taken into custody and was charged on two counts of first-degree murder.
Gabriel Struss, 18, of Annapolis, was arrested early this morning and was charged on multiple counts of first- and second-degree murder.
