Anna Kendrick sings in "The Last 5 Years" trailer

Perhaps it's time we crown Anna Kendrick the new queen of musical movies -- she's got two "Pitch Perfect" films under her belt and is also showing off her pipes as Cinderella in "Into the Woods" and in the trailer for the upcoming "The Last Five Years."

The film, based on the Jason Robert Brown musical of the same name, tells the story of the love affair, marriage and breakup of writer Jamie Wellerstein (Jeremy Jordan) and aspiring actress Cathy Hiatt (Kendrick).

The twist? He's telling their story from the beginning of their relationship, while she's starting at the end.

"The Last 5 Years" is out in theaters and VOD on Feb. 13.
