Anna Kendrick joins James Corden for a classic love songs sing-along
Did you know that Anna Kendrick and James Corden like to sing? Because they like to sing. A lot.
The "Pitch Perfect" star stopped by Corden's "Late Late Show" for a mini-"Into the Woods" reunion -- and a celebration of love songs reminiscent of "Moulin Rouge."
Corden introduced Kendrick as she started a musical medley that encapsulated an entire romantic relationship in under five minutes. Kendrick kicked things off solo singing "I Say a Little Prayer" at her makeup table before running into Corden in a bar as he belted out "Lady in Red."
Then it was off to a club for a little bit of The Weeknd with "I Can't Feel My Face" before they tossed off clothing and jumped into bed while singing Boyz II Men's "I'll Make Love to You."
Kendrick got a bit of cold feet, slipping into "I Think I Love You" before heading to the altar as they segued into Bruno Mars' "Marry You." But wedded bliss was short-lived as a duet of "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart" changed into a bit of Shaggy's "It Wasn't Me" once Kendrick discovered Corden's infidelity.
After Kendrick begged Corden, "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart," she caught him cheating and he immediately broke into a chorus of Shaggy's "It Wasn't Me." She comforted herself with some ice cream and Adele before trying to move on, but we won't spoil the ending.
Now that's one whirlwind romance.
