(CBS) On "Watch What Happens: Live," host Andy Cohen hands out a congratulatory "Mazel of the Week" during each episode. Now, he'll likely be getting some of his own.

The Bravo executive announced Monday that he is writing a memoir.

"Excited to announce that Henry Holt is publishing my first book, stories about my love of, and life in, pop culture & TV. Out next summer!" he tweeted.

On his blog, Cohen said the book will be "a memoir, of sorts, about my intersections with pop culture over the years, from growing up in front of the TV as a kid in St. Louis to my years at CBS News, all the way up to today."

"The stories I've been saving up are funny and improbable and really define who I am today," he added.

Cohen is Bravo's executive vice president of original programming and development. The network is the home of popular reality shows including "Top Chef," "Flipping Out" and the "Real Housewives" series.
