"American Pie" Star Chris Klein Arrested for DUI, and it's Not the First Time

LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) "American Pie" actor Chris Klein had a lot to think about on his walk home from the LAPD jail, where he was being held after his DUI arrest early Wednesday morning, police said.

Around 3 a.m. on June 16, Klein was spotted weaving across lanes on Southern California's U.S. 101 in Sherman Oaks, reports the California Highway Patrol.

CHP Officer Patrick Kimball said Klein was booked and released on his own recognizance. The 31-year-old was not just a smidgen over the limit, but at least two to three times over the .08 blood alcohol limit in California, says TMZ.

The gossip site also reports that the actor had a passenger, too -- his dog, who happened to be riding shotgun at the time of his arrest.

Unfortunately for Klein, who was once engaged to Katie Holmes, he is all too familiar with DUIs. It's reported he has a 2005 conviction and could face jail time, this time.
