American Pharoah jockey Victor Espinoza joins "Dancing With the Stars"
Jockey Victor Espinoza scored a big victory in June, making history as American Pharoah took the Triple Crown -- the first horse to do so since 1978.
Now the 43-year-old jockey will have a different goal in mind: winning the mirror trophy on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."
He's the second celebrity contestant named for the show's upcoming 21st season, joining Bindi Irwin, the 17-year-old daughter of late "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin.
When asked Tuesday whether he was a good dancer on ESPN2's SportsNation, Espinoza smiled and simply said, "no."
Something tells us he may have some decent dance moves.
Espinoza took home best jockey award at the 2015 ESPYs last month.
Expect to find out more of the celebrity contestants on the morning of Sept. 2. The new season of "DWTS" premieres at 8 p.m. ET on Sept. 14 on ABC.
