"American Idol" winner Lee DeWyze marries Jonna Walsh

(CBS News) Wedding bells rang over the weekend for "American Idol" winner Lee DeWyze.

The singer married model/actress Jonna Walsh in California on Saturday, a rep for DeWyze confirmed to Us Weekly.

"We are so excited to have been able to share this moment with our closest family and friends," DeWyze said, according to the magazine. "It was a beautiful and personal ceremony that exceeded all of our expectations. It was an emotional day that we will never forget!"

According to People, the "Idol" winner and his bride exchanged vows in front of 100 guests at a ceremony in Camarillo, Calif. Walsh reportedly wore a strapless, mermaid-shaped, vintage-style lace embroidered gown by Lili Bridal for the nuptials.

The pair met on the set of the music video for DeWyze's song "Sweet Serendipity" in October 2010. He proposed on July 16 during a visit to Disney World.
