Amanda Bynes to Chrissy Teigen: "You are an old ugly model"
Amanda Bynes isn't going away quietly.
Days after making headlines for her arrest, the actress took to Twitter to reveal she's suing TMZ for "staging fake bong photos." She added, "It's not even a bong! The photo shows it's clearly a clear and blue stained glass Ciroc bottle from some random street. You can't create fake evidence long they released me after they searched my apartment and the street and found no proof of drug use or drug paraphanilia inside or outside my apartment. They're a lame excuse for a news source. They're criminals and should be arrested!" Bynes noted that her lawyer is sending a lawsuit to TMZ's office.
In another tweet, posted early Wednesday, Bynes lashed out at model Chrissy Teigen, who had tweeted on Tuesday: "The fact that Amanda Bynes has any 'support' to retweet is really unsettling. Support people with mental illness, yes. But don't condone/enable scary and poor behavior."
Bynes, 27, didn't like those tweets very much and decided to respond in a tweet in which she calls Teigen an "old ugly model." Keep in mind Teigen is also 27.
Bynes wrote: "Ur not a pretty model compared to me. I signed to Ford models @ age 13. I don't look up to u beauty wise. I'm far prettier than u! I'm offended that you're saying I have a mental illness when I show no sign of it, but thankfully not one man that wants me wants you and you are an old ugly model compared to me! You look 45! You're not pretty so I'm not intimidated by you! I think you're jealous that you're just an ugly model whos career is uninspiring! I don't respect you! You're no beauty queen! I'm a beauty queen!"
Teigen, who's engaged to singer John Legend, responded: "Nope. Not going to indulge. Wish the best for her, truly." She added, "I never ask anything of you guys but please. I don't need defending and please stop writing her. It's not funny, it's sad."
Last Thursday, Bynes was arrested at her New York City apartment after she allegedly tossed a marijuana bong out the window. The former child star, who was also accused of smoking marijuana in the building's lobby, has been charged with reckless endangerment, attempted tampering with evidence and unlawful possession of marijuana. Bynes has denied any wrongdoing. Her next court date is slated for July 9.
On Tuesday, the New York Police Department's Internal Affairs Bureau concluded that despite her claims, Bynes was not sexually assaulted during her arrest last week.
