Amanda Bynes returns to Twitter, shows off new look

Amanda Bynes has been quiet on Twitter lately, but that changed over the weekend after she posted the following tweet and photo:

The normal, uncontroversial post follows a series of head-scratching tweets in which Bynes rallied against her parents, opened up about her social life, career and new relationship.

Last month, she tweeted about hating her "hideous" hair and protecting herself from whoever "hurts me." Bynes was taken to a psychiatric facility earlier this year.

Bynes underwent psychiatric treatment in 2013, too, after authorities said she set a small fire in the driveway of a Los Angeles-area home.

Bynes starred in her own Nickelodeon series, "The Amanda Show," and appeared in several movies, including "What a Girl Wants," "Hairspray" and "She's the Man."
