"All-Access" Back! First Trip: Rio!
In The Early Show's first round of "All-Access" weekend adventures, Dave Price traveled roughly 54,000 miles, visiting such hotspots as Hawaii, Buenos Aires and Tokyo with lucky folks who got to accompany him.
A new round kicked off Friday and this time, Price and trip recipients will cover something like 75,000 miles worldwide over six weekends.
And the destinations will be just as exotic.
For instance: Price picked Charece Williams, of Orlando, Fla., out of a crowd at Universal Studios in her hometown to head with him to — Rio de Janeiro for a weekend getaway to Carnaval!
Naturally, with their All-Access passes, Williams and Price will get to see things and places few others do in Rio.
They were to fly both ways on American Airlines for a trip arranged with the help of the Rio Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Price will tell Early Show viewers all about their fun time, on Wednesday.
Tell us and, if you can be in one of the cities Price is visiting across the country Fridays through March 23, you could be whisked away on an "All-Access" weekend, too. On Friday, Feb. 23, join him in at the Navy Pier in Chicago.
If you can't get to the cities Price is heading to, you can win an amazing "All-Access Pass" weekend by playing at home. Each Wednesday through March 28, we'll ask a question about his past weekend's "All-Access" adventure. Every correct answer gets you a chance at the ultimate "All-Access" weekend — a trip for two to the Tony Awards, to be broadcast live on CBS on June 10, 2007.
