Alexander Payne's "Nebraska" trailer crops up
Bruce Dern and Will Forte are taking a road trip to "Nebraska."
The first trailer for their upcoming drama was released on Tuesday, revealing scenes from the film shot entirely in black and white.
Dern plays Woody, an aging alcoholic Montana man. He convinces his estranged son David (Forte) to drive him down to Nebraska to collect an alleged million-dollar sweepstakes prize.
June Squibb, Stacy Keach and Bob Odenkirk also star.
"Nebraska" was directed by two-time Oscar winner Alexander Payne, a native of Omaha. Several of his previous films such as "Election" and "About Schmidt" were also shot in the Cornhusker State.
Much like another upcoming release, "12 Years A Slave," "Nebraska" has also been receiving early Oscars buzz.
Dern won the best actor prize at this year's Cannes Film Festival for his performance.
"Nebraska" opens in theaters on Nov. 22.
