Alec Baldwin rocks long hair (PHOTO) on "Rock of Ages" set

(CBS) Jack Donaghy would never agree to wear this.

"30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin is sporting long blonde hair, a bandana and a denim vest for his role in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical "Rock of Ages."

Director Adam Shankman tweeted a photo of Baldwin with co-star Russell Brand on Tuesday.

"First look! World premiere! Russell and Alec making my life heaven on #rockofagesmovie," he wrote.

In the film, Baldwin plays Dennis, owner of the bar The Bourbon Room. Brand plays Lonny, the musical's narrator.

Tom Cruise, Mary J. Blige, Paul Giamatti, Julianne Hough and Catherine Zeta-Jones also star in the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on June 1, 2012.
