ACM Awards 2013: Looks and trends on the red carpet
Anything goes! That was the overarching theme on the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards red carpet Sunday night in Las Vegas.
Overalls? Check. Fringe dress? Check. Hot Pink? You betcha. One thing was for sure: Country stars didn't stick with same old during their visit to the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
But in between all of the fun and bold styles, a few themes did emerge. Among them were a few colors: white, gold, navy, and even peach.
Sheryl Crow and Hillary Scott opted for navy, while Jewel sparkled in a peach-colored gown. Lauren Gregory chose a short peach dress.
In white on the red carpet? Newcomer Kacey Musgraves and Angie Johnson, among others. Sparkle and sequence -- in many varying forms -- dominated the red carpet, too. Country-pop darling Taylor Swift and singer Jana Kramer both lit up the red carpet in gold gowns.
