ACC Tournament 2011 Schedule: Tobacco road rivals top of the table

(CBS) -Tar Heels, Blue Devils and Terps - oh my! ACC teams converge in Greensboro, N.C. this week for their 2011 Tournament.

The tournament starts on Thursday with No. 8 Virginia against No. 9 Miami. The top teams - including Duke, UNC and Florida State - have first round byes and take the court on Thursday. The whole thing wraps up on Sunday with the conference championship.

Coming off their huge win last Saturday against archrivals Duke, North Carolina is the No. 1 seed. UNC won 12 of their last 13 games and finished with a conference record of 14-2. Both the Tar Heels and Blue Devils still have a shot at getting a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

The ACC is top-heavy this year, with only Duke and North Carolina in the top 25. No. 3 Florida State, No. 4 Clemson, and No. 5 Boston College fill out the rest of the top five in the ACC. The rest of the conference will be trying their best to pull an upset and punch their ticket to the NCAA tournament with a championship.
