Half-way through the dreaded month of September (it's historically the worst month for stocks), the Dow is up 5.8 percent, the S&P 500 is up 7.2 percent and the NASDAQ leads the way with a 9 percent climb. With all those gains, you might be thinking, "I'm not doing that well in my portfolio!" Maybe that's because you're a bad investor.
