"12-12-12" Sandy benefit star memorabilia hits the auction block

The celebrity fundraising for superstorm Sandy victims continues with an online auction dubbed "12-12-12: Auction for Sandy Relief."

The auction features signed concert memorabilia, instruments and posters from artists who participated in Wednesday's "12-12-12" benefit concert at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Via Charitybuzz and presented by State Farm, the auction features such items as limited edition guitar signed by "12-12-12" artists such as Bon Jovi, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, Bruce Springsteen, Pete Townshend, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters and Paul McCartney.

Kanye West signed and donated the sweatshirt he wore for the concert, and Bruce Springsteen signed the shirt he wore that night and donated it to the auction block.

Celebrity presenters and phone bank volunteers, including the cast of The Sopranos, Chelsea Clinton, Whoopi Goldberg, Karlie Kloss, Chris Martin, Seth Meyers, Ben Stiller and others also signed exclusive, limited-edition metallic gold and silver concert posters for the auction, which runs from now through Dec. 20.

Estimated values on auction packages range from $5,000 to $121,000. All net proceeds will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund.

Meanwhile, "12-12-12" concert organizers are readying a digital and CD release of the show, which will also go to the cause.

Sandy struck the eastern part of the United States in late October, damaging hundreds of thousands of homes and killing at least 125 people.
